彩票電郵騙案受害者來自澳洲新西蘭新加坡馬來西亞
警方破獲彩票騙案，受害者超過160人，多數是來自澳洲、新西蘭、新加坡及馬來西亞的華人，估計被騙款項達2100萬元。 商業罪案調查科警司陳綺麗表示，騙徒來自內地、台灣及東南亞，主要透過電話及電郵，訛稱受害人中獎或投資獲利，騙取受害人存款到騙徒的銀行戶口。 她表示，被捕人士中，相信兩人是骨幹成員，其他人涉及替集團洗黑錢。 警方呼籲市民不要輕易相信來歷不明的電郵或電話，亦不要將戶口提供給他人使用，否則可能涉及洗黑錢活動。
