As the U.S. Peace Corps celebrates its 50th year of service, the more than 8,000 volunteers currently working in the developing world still adhere to its early vision of service in communities. As VOA’s Brian Padden reports, volunteers working in one of Peace Corps newest programs in Indonesia live and work in rural communities, and are forever changed by the experience.
