Public Record 2011 MODERN MAKERS OF CANADA AWARDThe inaugural Modern Makers of Canada Award was presented in Ottawa, on June 6th, 2011, by the Institute on Governance. This award honours Canadians who have shaped and modernized Canada into the 21st century through good governance. The first recipients of the Modern Makers of Canada Award were former British Columbia Premier Gordon Campbell and former Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Danny Williams. The event was co-chaired by Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird and former Deputy Prime Minister of Canada Anne McLellan.
