US Retailers Enjoying Better Than Expected Sales
A strong start to the holiday shopping season in the United States is boosting confidence in the businesee commmunity that 2011 may be a better year for the economy. Business has been brisk at shopping malls across the country with some department stores reporting the best month in two years. But with only a few days left in the holiday shopping season, optimism from both retailers and consumers is tempered by the reality that too many Americans are still looking for work.
