八達通公司董事會召開特別會議，接受陳碧鏵辭去行政總裁的職務，即時生效。 至於早前因為轉售客戶資料而獲得的4400萬元會捐予公益金。 政府表示，八達通董事會的決定，已回應政府的關注。
