RBI asks banks to restructure aviation sector loans
There’s good news for the airline operators and relief for their financiers as well. The Reserve bank of India has finally agreed to the demands of the banking industry to recast loans of the debt ridden aviation industry. The top three carriers – Kingfisher, Jet Airways and Air India have a combined debt of $ 13.5 billion.
