NASA lays out plan for private partnership
Once the space shuttles are retired following the launch of the Atlantis, only the Russians will be able to transport astronauts into space, aboard their Soyuz rockets. But NASA is backing developments in the private sector, banking on companies to take men into orbit by 2015.
