Financial reform is a major talking point. Even Charlie Sheen has submitted his comments on their effect on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, possibly. The CFTC is facing an onslaught of over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives coming under its remit following the Dodd-Frank reforms in the US.  But does it have the wherewithal to cope. Adam Sussman, head of research at Tabb Group, feels the CFTC is already under-resourced and will clearly need more staff and particularly technology to oversee these additional responsibilities.
