National Doughnut Day
National Doughnut Day on Newsfeed - Happy National Doughnut Day everyone! I am almost positive that you know how to celebrate this holiday... Go rob a bank because every cop on the planet is really busy right now. Get it because they love... You know? This day was started by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the women who would serve doughnuts to the soldiers during World War I. Thank God they chose doughnuts and not that other popular war time food... canned corn beef. Today also marks the long anticipated fight to the death between Duncin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme over who gets to crown themselves the leading cause of crème filled obesity in America.
