Just when Internet radio supporters were beginning to lose all hope, last night’s events gave them encouragement. SoundExchange Director, John Simson, announced to the House Commerce Committee that webcasters can continue to stream after July 15th, which was the scheduled day of the fee increase. Dan McSwain of the Radio and Internet Newsletter, told WebProNews they are very pleased with this turn of events. Catch the full story including details on a proposed bill which could postpone the fee increase for 60 days, right here on WebProNews.
