Adapting 'The Twilight Saga'
Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg began her writing career in television on shows that include: "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman," "Dark Skies," "The Magnificent Seven," "Ally McBeal," "Birds of Prey," "Love Monkey," and "Dexter," which earned her two Emmy Awards nominations and two Writers Guild of America Awards. In addition to work on television, Rosenberg been an active member of the screenwriting community as the strike captain during the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike, and the co-founder the League of Hollywood Women Writers. In 2007, Rosenberg wrote the adaptation of Stephanie Meyer’s bestselling novel “Twilight,” as well as the sequels "Twilight: New Moon" and "Twilight: Eclipse.”
