Building a Theme
In 1986 Shawn Levy started out his film career as an actor, but soon moved on to becoming a director and producer. His filmography credits include "The Pink Panther" I and II, "Cheaper by the Dozen" I and II, "What Happens in Vegas," "The Rocker," "Night at the Museum," and most recently "Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian." Levy also directed a number of television shows, including "Cousin Skeeter," "The Famous Jet Jackson," and "Pepper Dennis." Levy was born in Montreal, Quebec and as a teenager attended Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center in New York. In 1986, he starred in his first motion picture, "Zombie Nightmare," a low-budget horror film, and in 1989, graduated cum laude from Yale University. Levy is next slated to produce the upcoming film "Neighborhood Watch," starring Will Ferrell.
