From acorn to oak - time-lapse reveals all
May 19 - The growth of a tree takes place so slowly that, in real time, it’s impossible to observe. Six years ago, plant-lover and British film-maker Neil Bromhall decided to speed up the process with time-lapse photography and build a database of footage for all to see on his Website www.Rightplants4me.co.uk. His latest sequence follows the development of an acorn into an oak. Rob Muir reports.
