Podium Rick Hansen, president and CEO of the Rick Hansen Foundation, spoke to a lunchtime audience at the Canadian Club of Ottawa on March 2nd, 2011. Hansen, also known as Canada’s Man in Motion, became paralyzed from the waist down at 15 as the result of a spinal cord injury sustained in a car accident. His inspirational Man in Motion World Tour raised $26 million for spinal cord injury (SCI) research and quality of life programs.
