曾蔭權：對大埔水浸引致傷亡感痛心 將作全面調查
正在四川考察的行政長官曾蔭權表示，對於日前大埔水浸，引致傷亡事故，感到痛心，現時最重要是協助居民，重建生活。 他又說，多個區域已進行渠務工程，其中西環及北區的水浸情況已經善，但個別區域工程仍在進行，民政事務局局長及發展局局長已就水浸事故表達意見，當局會就事件作出全面調查。
