０８年９月２７日、立山連峰で初冠雪を観測した。撮影は同日午後３時半、西日に照らされた立山連峰は山頂付近の雪と中腹の紅葉とでユニークな色彩を演出、秋の訪れと共にすぐそこに迫る厳しい冬とが同居したこの時期ならではの光景を観た＝本社機「あすか」から
