野茂投手はメジャーの道開いた～ラソーダ氏
日本人メジャーリーガーの先駆者的存在である野茂英雄投手（３９）の現役引退表明を受け、野茂投手がドジャース在籍時に監督だったラソーダ氏は「日本人選手がメジャーに進出する道を切り開いたのが野茂だ」と語った。市民からも惜しむ声が上がっている。
