Dick Tracy Headquarters & Pawnee Co. Historical Society Museum
Travel Correspondent Lauren Jones goes to the Dick Tracy Headquarters at the Pawnee County Historical Society and Museum. Pawnee is most well-known for the birthplace of Chester Gould, creator of the famous comic detective Dick Tracy. Pawnee is also known as the home of Moses Yellowhorse, the first Native American to play major league baseball. Yellowhorse played for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1922. Pawnee has a rich history of western settlers, oil and Medal of Honor recipients.
