Hawaii’s High Technology Development Corporation
Hawaii’s High Technology Development Corporation (HTDC) facilitates the development and growth of Hawaii's commercial high technology industry. The Manoa Innovation Center (MIC) is the oldest HTDC high tech business incubator. For more than 10 years, MIC has leveraged its location near the University of Hawaii at Manoa to link emerging commercial high-tech ventures with university-based research and development. HTDC CEO Phil Bossert and two recent tenants of MIC discuss the broad issues around expanding Hawaii's economy to embrace high tech ventures.
