Studies say speed reading a myth
Kareem Tawfik was looking for a quicker way to get his homework done and thought speed reading might be the answer. He took a class, but said he still turns pages at the same rate. Students were told to follow along with their fingers while reading, but Tawfik found it had the opposite effect.
