| | Hot wiring a bike with an M-Unit on board
This is a clearer example of how to power on Motogadget’s M-Unit bypassing the M-Lock and any other means of turning the ignition on or off. As before, I think this is a brilliant unit, but Motogadget need to acknowledge that this unit has a serious flaw that needs to be fixed. I have used the auxiliary socket as, like most bikes, it has a permanent live, but any live will do. The resistor I have used is a 1.5K 1/4 watt which connects the live to the input line of the M-Unit. I have used the brake wire as this is easy to access on any bike, but any input line will do (horn, lights, indicators).
