US Search, Rescue Teams in Japan to Help with Post-Quake Rescue
The United States has deployed two elite urban search and rescue teams from Los Angeles and Virginia to help find victims of Friday’s catastrophic earthquake in Japan. A disaster relief official in Los Angeles, who has been in continuous contact with his team, says its members face daily challenges with the weather and their surroundings.
