iReport — I am from NJ and grew up all my life with a severe speech impediment. I was almost impossible to understand as a kid and had a lot of speech therapy. I never heard my recorded voice until I was forced to record myself in 5th grade. I was horrified by the sound of my voice that I did not want anyone else to have to hear it. I think at that moment, I lost my extroverted personality. I have improved dramatically with my speech; however, I have not heard myself on tape since 5th grade. I have not watched this video, so hopefully it is clear enough :)
