Public Record Canadian Federation of University Women 2010 Annual General Meeting On July 16th, 2010, the Canadian Federation of University Women held their 2010 Annual General Meeting and Conference in Ottawa. This year’s event explored diplomacy, defence and development.  In the first panel discussion Brigadier General Denis Thompson (Chief of Staff, Land Operations Canadian Forces), Kerry Buck (assistant deputy minister, Afghanistan Task Force, DFAIT) and Hau Sing Tse (senior vice-president, geographic programs branch, CIDA) discussed Defence, diplomacy and development in the context of Canada's Afghanistan mission.
