The first brief for Unit 14 was called 'Diagrammatic Instruction'. We were asked to 'describe, using as simple means as possible: a conversation, a gesture or/and an action'.  I decided to map the action of 'Skidding' with a fixed gear bicycle. Skidding happens when a fixed gear cyclist resists his turning cranks by: - shifting his weight slightly forward - pulling the pedals up with the use of straps and so locking the rear wheel.
