Shaggy - Live at Chiemsee Reggae Summer 1998, Remix
The world’s top-selling Jamaican artist, Shaggy has dominated reggae music since the early Nineties. His irresistible blending of reggae with catchy pop hooks has made him the most successful reggae crossover artist ever and he has stormed pop charts around the world. With five No. 1 pop singles, a couple of multi platinum albums and a Grammy Award to his name, Shaggy has become an international star. His 2001 album 'Hot Shot' alone has sold a phenomenal 13 million copies worldwide and topped the charts in the States, Great Britain, Germany and Australia simultaneously. Very much in his element in a live setting, Shaggy is captured here headlining the 1998 Chiemsee Reggae Festival, a prestigious reggae event held annually in the Bavarian Alps, brilliantly accompanied by his outstanding body of backing musicians and singers, The Groove Society Band. This memorable concert includes several of his massive hits, including 'In The Summertime', 'Boombastic' and 'Oh! Carolina' - the last two U.K. chart toppers. It also features a memorable medley of Bob Marley classics. This is the specially remixed version of the concert with added visual effects.
