Bericht vom 05.06.2005: Jeden Tag werden in Deutschland ca. 15000 Blutkonserven benötigt. Große Vorräte können nicht angelegt werden, denn Blut hält sich nur zwischen 35 und 42 Tagen. Immer wieder gibt es Engpässe bei seltenen Blutgruppen. Im Sommer werden die Konserven regelmäßig knapp. Blutspender sind rar, vor allem in Großstädten.
