Muse - Hysteria
Stunning live-show/light-show combo by this U.K. critics' band proves that sometimes the critics are right. Singer Matthew Bellamy’s slinky falsetto is stirring, bassist Chris Wolstenhome's hurtling lines surge and Dominic Howard's drums are a controlled explosion. Visually, the simple yet trippy light show is a riot of projected red-blood-cell flying saucers and shadowy neurons that become neon streams before the ominous cloud engulfs them all. Cool and a half.
