Plane ticket prices keep going up, as the airlines are being hit just as hard by high fuel prices as the rest of us. One way to save some money on your airfare is to fly into a smaller airport that is outside the main city you are traveling to. This may sound like a pain, but you\'ll probably get much better rates flying into the Burbank or Long Beach airports if you are visiting LA than if you land at LAX. Once you get in town, you can take public transportation to get closer to the popular destinations in the city you travel to. This may seem like an extra step, but paying for one cab or even a limo is going to cost a lot less than paying more money for a ticket... or a group of tickets... that you could have saved big on.
