The magic of airplanes/steampunk societies/bombs/armies/destruction of the Hindenburg may not be the most apt visuals for all of the brooding Dinosaur Bones catalog, but there are only a handfull of songs floating around out there, so who knows? It certainly fits here. "Ice Hotels" is one of them, and the video pairs the tranquility turned explosion of the song with imagery of man’s attempts at flight/epic destructions of/with technology. It is pretty "epique", as they (maybe) say. When the dust settles, we're left wondering where (and when) the Ice Hotel is exactly, and if we can check out anytime we like (but never leave).
