32. Händel-Festspiele
Tipp vom 24.02.2009: So wie in Karlsruhe hätte die Uraufführung von Händels Radamisto vor knapp 300 Jahren aussehen können: barockes Theaterballett. Eine Bühnenbeleuchtung allein mit Hilfe von Kerzen, die Hauptrollen besetzt mit Frauen. Radamisto ist eine Oper über den Familienzwist im thrakischen Königshaus. Oper, Symposien, Konzerte. Die Händel-Festspiele in Karlsruhe dauern noch bis zum 1. März 2009.
