Verigy Receives Revised Offer from Advantest
Semiconductor test systems company Verigy (VRGY) said today it had received a revised proposal from Advantest (ATE) to acquire Verigy for $15 per share in cash.  Verigys board said it is not making any recommendation with regard to the proposal at this time, and it expects to continue discussions with Advantest regarding its proposal, and the regulatory considerations connected with it.
