make-a-bot!
yay 3d printer! Make-A-Bot is a small DIY additive fabricator ("3d printer") using the fused deposition / fused filament fabrication principle. It uses commercial open-source components from Makerbot Industries with custom mechanics and construction. The machine chassis is waterjet-cut aluminum and the pedestal and electronics cabinet are 6mm laser-cut acrylic.   For more information on Make-A-Bot, see .
