In October 2006 Pawnee suddendly suffered a grave kidney failure. She was to stay at the vet\\\\\\\'s. But as no treatment was to be given her during the night, I decided to drive her each morning and pick her up in the evening. This started on a Monday. By Wednesday I was feeling worse than my dog. I practically drove on reverse gear on the Wednesday morning. So on the Thursday I decided to stay with Pawnee and install her in her car. The vet was doubtful at first, but Pawnee and I can be convincing ! T\\\\\\\'was no fun but a net improvement for her, she hated being in the cage at the vet\\\\\\\'s !!! On the Friday Jan came and had lunch with us: burgers on the vet's parking ! A treat !!!
