The Wall Street Journal reports that Credit Suisse Group (NYSE:CS) is the target of a U.S. Justice Department investigation into hidden Swiss offshore accounts for wealthy Americans. The Wall Street Journal reports that the Obama Administration is prepared to let auto makers improve the future fuel efficiency of pickup trucks and SUVs at a slower pace than passenger cars, which will benefit Detroit manufacturers. Reuters reports that Taiwan's TSMC (TNYSE:SM) began trial manufacturing of next generation chips for Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) mobile devices signaling that the iPad maker is shifting from its traditional chip supplier, Samsung. Finally, The Financial Times reports that The Pentagon said an unnamed U.S. defense contractor's computer network was hacked by a foreign spy agency in March and 24,000 files containing defense data were stolen.
