Northeast Utilities, NSTAR Agree to Merge
Northeast Utilities (NU) and NSTAR (NST) said today that they have agreed to merge, in a deal that will create one of the nations largest utilities, with an enterprise value of $17.5 billion.  The combined company will continue to be called Northeast Utilities.
