科大研究：葵涌貨櫃碼頭排放二氧化硫 影響附近地區
研究發現，本港多個地區的路邊空氣污染情況嚴重。 科技大學利用裝有精密儀器的車輛，量度街道的空氣污染情況，發現除了設有路邊監測站的中環、旺角及銅鑼灣之外，其他地區包括觀塘繞道、彌敦道及軒尼詩道的路邊空氣污染同樣嚴重。停泊貨櫃輪的葵涌貨櫃碼頭，亦排放二氧化硫，嚴重影響附近地區。 與科大合作的思匯政策研究所建議，盡快設立低排放區，以及減低葵涌一帶的船隻排放。
