Digital Tipping Point: Natalia Ulrych, University student in Berlin (2004)
This is one of many short video segments which will be added to the Digital Tipping Point (DTP) archive. This is a funny segment which was shot at the OpenOffice.org Conference 2004 in Berlin. Natalia Ulrych, who is featured in this short segment, wanted to come on camera to say that she had come to the OpenOffice.org Conference to find out what the community aspect of the software was all about. We talked with Natalia for a while before the camera was turned on. She wanted to say just a few words for the camera, but was camera shy, and yet she bravely went on camera. The result is some really good out-takes. Natalia says that the reason that she tried OpenOffice.org and Star Office, the proprietary brother to OpenOffice.org, is that she found it to be easier than Microsoft’s competing product.
