Asset management and financial advisory company Lazard (LAZ) reported second quarter earnings of 34 cents per share; that’s down compared to earnings of 54 cents per share in the same quarter last year, but a considerable rebound from a first quarter loss of 26 cents.   On the strong results Lazard increased its quarterly dividend by 25%, to 12 and a half cents per share; that's an annualized yield of about one and a half percent on the current share price.
