Jedes Jahr kommen Kinder aus der Region rund um Tschernobyl nach Rheinland-Pfalz. Viele von ihnen sind krank, durch die radioaktive Belastung in ihrer Heimat, die es seit der Reaktorkatastrophe vor 25 Jahren gibt. In Rheinland-Pfalz sollen sie sich drei Wochen lang bei ihren Gastfamilien erholen.
