Scrums Auditor General Sheila Fraser released her fall report today on federal spending and programs. Among the report’s highlights was criticism over the government’s purchasing process for two models of helicopters, the Cyclone and the Chinook. National Defence Minister Peter MacKay responded to Fraser’s criticism.  Opposition leaders Michael Ignatieff, Gilles Duceppe and Jack Layton also reacted to the AG’s report, as did critics John McCallum (Liberal), Dominic LeBlanc (Liberal) and Jack Harris (NDP).
