New jobs in the middle of the economic crisis: last year 30,000 jobs were created in the booming renewable energy sector. The field has a turnover of about 30 billion euros a year and is still desperately looking for qualified personnel. That makes for good prospects at the German state of Thüringen’s Technical College in Nordhausen.This is the first place in Germany where students can major in "Regenerative Energy Technology”.
