東日本大震災 宮城・女川町で延期されていた小学校の運動会が3校合同で行われる
宮城・女川町で12日、東日本大震災の影響で延期されていた小学校の運動会が、3校合同で行われている。宮城・女川町では、校庭に仮設住宅が建設されているなどの理由から、小学校の運動会が延期となっていた。12日は、町内の3つの小学校が合同で、唯一校庭が使える女川第二小学校のグラウンドで運動会が行われた。開会式では、3校の児童代表が、「待ちに待った運動会、頑張ろう女川!」と力強く宣誓した。女川町では、3つの小学校あわせて2人の児童が死亡・行方不明となっているが、運動会には359人の児童が参加し、競い合っていた。また、フォークダンスでは、子どもたちと町民が一緒になって「マイムマイム」を楽しそうに踊っていた。
