ganze Sendung vom 13.03.2011: Marwari-Pferde, diese robusten Pferde mit den markanten Sichelohren, werden nur in Indien - genauer im Bundesstaat Rajasthan - gezüchtet. Ihre Stressresistenz machte sie früher zum idealen Kriegspferd. Auch heute sind sie noch bei Armee und Polizei geschätzt. In dem kleinen Städtchen Pushkar findet ein Mal im Jahr der größte Markt für ca. 35.000 dieser Pferde - aber auch Kamele - statt.
