Safari: iPhone Development Platform
At the WWDC '07 in San Francisco, Steve Jobs announced that Safari will be the development platform for the iPhone. Developers will have access to all of the iPhones' core services and will be able to create apps that can make phone calls, connect to Google maps, and send email.
