天氣轉涼，流感踏入高峰期，過往小童要打流感針，花費過百元，今年他們可以節省八十元，因為衛生署由十一月一日起，推出為期五個月的「流感疫苗資助計劃」，年滿六個月至未滿六歲的兒童，可到參與計劃的私家醫生接受流感疫苗注射，每次獲政府資助八十元。 政府由六十年代開始，推行兒童免疫接種計劃，包括結核病、小兒麻痺、白喉、百日咳、破傷風及麻疹等六種疫苗，其後又增加了德國麻疹、流行性腮腺炎及乙型肝炎等疫苗，但是否所有人都適合打預防性疫苗呢？注射預防疫苗效果有多大呢？
