Union leaders warn govt. for more industrial actions
Benoit Hamon, Socialist Party says this government doesn’t respect French people, it doesn't respect parliamentary representation, it doesn't respect the unions, doesn't respect the demonstrations, and even goes as far as not to respect the verdict of the polls. It's a problem for democracy, a problem for France. It's up to Nicolas Sarkozy now to show that he's able to get out of this problem. That could be a lot to ask. Sarkozy has never been less popular, and the 2012 elections are not far off. Union leaders now say that unless the government rethinks the proposals, more industrial action could be on the way.
