L’Enlèvement
Le prince Philippe a décidé de s’enfuir avec Corinne. De son côté, le comte Fabregas décide de faire enlever la fille du didacteur par un commando royaliste afin de s'en servir comme otage et d'obliger son père à abandonner le pouvoir. Corinne a chargé sa tante Agathe de remettre une lettre au prince révélant sa véritable identité. Le comte Fabregas intercepte la lettre et le quiproquo continue.
