今集蔡生會帶大家去不同的私房菜館,品嚐一系列它們的巧手菜式,首先走訪一間菜館,老闆是本港第一代辦私房菜的人,一直做到現在,食店亦有所擴充,由兒子來繼承,一道川燒牛尾已表現了功架,另外,煙倉魚和琵琶翅也是一流佳餚。 之後又去到一間充滿藝術氣息的餐館歎傳統四川菜,口水雞、粉蒸排骨、紅燒牛肉都是上品,老闆更大展歌喉,拍爛手掌。 私房菜豈止中國餸?!來到一間法式餐廳,大廚自家製鵝肝醬、弄油鴨腿和香橙班戟,是另一種飲食風味。 出版界名人黎智英原來對廚藝甚有研究,大家可參觀他的大宅外,更可欣賞肥佬黎如何烹調三款拿手菜,以及他的飲食哲學與態度。
