New Ordinance Restricts Some Orange Beach Businesses
Orange Beach City Council passes new ordinance restricting where certain businesses can operate...one city council member now having second thoughts about her vote.   On Tuesday, the Orange Beach City Council voted unanimously to control where certain businesses operate. The ordinance prohibits tattoo parlors, body piercing studios, palm readers, liquor stores, payday loan shops and pawn shops from operating within 500 feet of schools, parks and residential areas.
